Do you feel completely defeated and overwhelmed by how life has turned out or are you trying to pick up the pieces of your life? You are not alone in your situation. Take a moment and truly reflect on what it means to be broken. When you are broken you feel shattered, worn out, used, abused, beaten, unrepairable and that you can never be transformed back to your original state. Being broken means you were never supposed to be the same vessel you started out with in the beginning. Being broken means you gain an appreciation for learning to understand we need cracks to be repaired. We need brokenness to understand and accept that we can be molded back together with the strength of other vessels. The very vessels that made you feel broken may be the glue that helps you see your cracks more clearly. Those cracks allow you to see that perfection does not exist in your or anyone else. Those cracks in yourself and others are to give you a new perspective of yourself and others. We are all shattered in one form or another and it is up to us to decide what glue to use to build us back up again. The next time you see someone that looks like their life is perfect or they are put together like that original unbroken jar; know their glue may be different than the one you used to repair yourself.
I have good news for you! You were never meant to be or become anyone other that who you are today. Through all the times you didn't feel worth the pot you were given. Those cracks are what began to mold you into the vessel you are today. Do you have more compassion for others? Do you lend a helping hand when you see someone else in despair? Do you help other people through your own understanding? When you look at the chips in your life. Can you see how they molded you with the character and unique qualities you have today.? Those cracks can either be repaired or they can be shattered for an eternity. When you finally get broken and nothing seems repairable is the moment you begin to reflect. You are able to take your life back. Look at it like with the reins of a horse. A horse doesn't know how to be trained without the bridle in his mouth. It takes practice, training and breaking behaviors until you fully understand how the training has created a broken horse. See the horse isn't really broke. The horse was trained to become a master at taking directions, learning how to lead, galloping, trotting, steering then eventually when the horse has had enough training; he will not longer need a bridle bit. The bridle bit and the broken jar represents transformation. Anything or anyone can be repaired by the proper training to see things with a different mindset or become the master of your own skills. Reclaim you today and your identity. You are not broken and you aren't shattered. You are being created and transformed into who you are supposed to be, with cracks and all. Today reflect on five different things about yourself that makes you the unique person you are that nobody else knows about you. Do you sing in the shower, do you dance when nobody is looking, do you give your last dollar to someone else in need? Only you know that that brokenness is what it took became the magnificent and fabulous person you are today. Don't beat yourself up anymore because you have been broken enough. Love the broken you as Reclaim You Today! From my heart to yours.... Comments are closed.
